Uttarakhand Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Uttarakhand Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) exam is conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). Here Jobstruggler is providing detailed syllabus of Prelims and Mains Exam of Uttarakhand APO. Uttarakhand APO Exam Pattern and Syllabus.
The recruitment process of APO exam is conducted in three stages:
- Preliminary Exam (Total Marks- 200)
- Mains Examination (Total Marks- 400)
- Personality Test/Interview (Total Marks- 50)
1. Preliminary Exam Pattern of Uttarakhand APO Exam
The Preliminary exam of UKPSC APO consists of two papers- General Studies and Law. Each Paper will be of objective type (Multiple choice questions). There will be maximum 100 questions in both papers and each question will carry equal marks (one mark for each question).

2. Uttarakhand APO Mains Exam Pattern/Scheme
The Mains exam of Uttarakhand Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) will consist of four paper- General Studies, General Hindi (High School level), Law-I (Criminal Law and Procedure with Police Act) and Law-II (Evidence Act). Each paper will carry maximum 100 marks.

Note – The candidates must secure 35% marks in General Hindi paper to qualify, otherwise the copy of all other papers will not be evaluated.
3. Personality Test/Interview
The Candidates who are qualified in mains exam will be called for Personality Test/Interview. The Personality Test will carry maximum 50 marks.
The final merit will be based on the marks obtained in mains and interview stage only. The Prelims exam is elimination stage only.
